The Adapted Physiques Workout On Demand Episode 01 aka APWOD01.


Most of you remember the P90X Videos that come to mind when you hear about follow along workouts, we’re here to bring the calorie burn to the most efficient and applicable exercises to help you adapt your physique to whatever your needs have become in your fitness journey. The APWOD01 is the first video on demand workout is one you should start with before watching any of our other WOD, we will cover everything you need to know and take our time to explain everything so that you’re prepared to tackle the rest of the series. It’s going to be the perfect starting point for this series so that beginners can get started and more experienced individuals in their fitness journey can prime their body for training they may not typically perform. Remember this first video is designed so that we can avoid injury and create a foundation for results so even if you think you can push harder this is a learning moment and worth paying attention too.



We will have alternative or modified options for each exercise in our video’s to accommodate individuals with different equipment accessibility at home. 


Types of exercise to be covered in this series include :


  • Flexibility. These types of exercises help muscle recovery, maintain range of motion, and prevent injuries. Examples include yoga or individual muscle-stretch movements.


  • Balance & Stability. These exercises are designed to strengthen muscles and improves body coordination. Examples include Pilates and core-strengthening exercises.


  • High-intensity interval training (HIIT). This type of exercise includes repetitions of short bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by low-intensity exercises or rest periods.


  • Strength. These exercises help increase muscle power and strength. Examples include resistance training, plyometrics, weightlifting, and sprinting.


Remember It’s important to consult your healthcare provider and get a physical medical examination before starting an exercise routine. This is particularly important for those new to strenuous physical activities.

An early checkup can detect any health problems or conditions that could put you at risk for an injury during exercise. Participating in any of our Workouts on Demand are at your own risk.


Starting with small achievable goals will increase your chances of success and keep you motivated as we progress, there’s nothing worse than feeling overwhelmed and quitting early because you haven’t set realistic goals that’s why it’s important to pace yourself and always refer to the APWOD01 as the first step in the APWOD Series.
